Ormachea Jewelry specializes in handmade, one-of-a-kind jewelry, made to order.

Ormachea is a family business in the tradition of old Cusco, Peru where the designer Hugo Ormachea, is a third generation jeweler with exquisite attention to detail & artistic expression.

Hugo's one of a kind designs are a synthesis of his own ideas and those of the clients, who often come into the store without a clear idea of what they want; just an unfocused thought about a sentimental stone that perhaps belonged to their Grandmother or other family member. Hugo then helps them translate their wishes into reality in the form of a beautiful piece of jewelry that they will always treasure. For example:

- Wedding Bands unique to each couple
- Mothers Jewelry, expressive or sentimental
- Sterling Silver and 18K Gold combinations, artistic and practical

Hugo is constantly working on his latest special pieces, using 18 and higher carat Gold. Currently he is tending towards Ocean color natural stones such as Australian and Peruvian Opals, Chalcedony, Moonstones as well as Tahitian Pearls. He combines these with precious stones such as Diamonds. Hugo's workshop is right behind the studio and you can often see him working during store hours.

Apart from Hugo's work, the store also showcases contemporary and ethnic accented work at affordable prices by many other designers.
